The 2022 Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid’s dimensions are identical to the Mild Hybrid. The SUV measures 4,345 mm in length, 1,795 mm in width, 1,645 in height, It has a thermal efficiency of 40 per cent and the powertrain works in tandem with a 79 PS and 141 Nm producing electric motor, connected to an e-drive transmission. It is mated only to a CVT automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels. At the same time, Suzuki’s AllGrip AWD system with multiple drive modes will be available with the mild hybrid engine.
The Grand Vitara marks Maruti’s long-awaited entry into the mid-sized SUV segment.
