In 2001, audiences wouldn’t have imagined Fast & Furious would become a household name. After all, the first film was a straightforward racing action movie, so it seems impossible that the franchise has gotten so big. Despite the odds, the movies have become one of the biggest multi-billion dollar franchises in racing history. As of May 2023, Fast X will be the tenth movie in the series, and if fans count the Hobbs and Shaw spinoffs, there will be 11 films.

Jason Momoa as Dante
Defeated by Hobbs in Fast Five, Dante (Jason Momoa) is an ally of Cipher and the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes. After his father’s death, Dante is out for revenge and will do anything to get it.
Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto
Dom (Vin Diesel) leads this motley crew of drivers and tech experts. As a street-racer in Los Angeles, he has led his crew to pull off heists and government jobs. He seems to model his life after three core values: family, fast cars, and an ice-cold Corona.
Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw
In The Fate of the Furious, Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw became a member of Toretto’s crew, which led to his own spin-off, Hobbs & Shaw. In Fast X, Shaw has even been given his own post-credit scene, showing that he will once again join Dom’s crew.
Helen Mirren as Queenie Shaw
Queenie Shaw (Helen Mirren), Deckard Shaw’s mother, returns to the Fast & Furious world. Her first appearance in the franchise was in The Fate of the Furious, when Dom used her to hire her sons Deckard and Owen. She also leads a female militia. In Fast X, Queenie and Dom share a tender moment.
John Cena as Jakob Toretto
Mia and Dom Toretto’s older brother, Jakob Toretto (John Cena), hasn’t seen his siblings in years. To get revenge against his own brother, he teamed up with Cipher to work for Mr. Nobody. Since the end of F9, Dom and Jakob have made amends
Ludacris as Tej Parker
Brian’s old friend Tej Parker (Ludacris) made his first appearance in the franchise during 2 Fast 2 Furious. In multiple films, he seems to be the team’s go-to tech expert as well as a mechanic.
Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce
Tyrese Gibson plays Roman Pearce, Brian’s childhood friend in 2 Fast 2 Furious. In addition to being an expert street racer, he is also one of the most chatty crew members. According to Gibson, Fast X is going global, so fans should fasten their seatbelts.
Sung Kang as Han
Sung Kang’s Han first appeared in Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift, in which he was killed in a car crash. Any film after the third is set before Tokyo Drift until Furious 7. Han joined Dom’s crew in Fast & Furious and quickly became a fan favorite, which led to Justice for Han becoming a campaign. It was revealed in F9 that Han never died, but actually faked his death to work for Mr. Nobody.
Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto
Jordana Brewster is Dom’s little sister and Brian’s wife. Since she had children, she tends to stay away from more intense action. However, Mia does have some knowledge about cars, which is why she and Brian hit it off right away. Mia returned in Fast X to help Dom with Jakob after a break.
Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz
As Dom’s girlfriend and mechanic, Michelle Rodriguez plays Letty. She is also one of Dom’s top drivers. In Fast and Furious 6, it is revealed that Letty is still alive and has amnesia despite appearing to have died in the fourth movie. In Furious 7, Dom and Letty are revealed to be married.
Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey
Nathalie Emmanuel plays Ramsey, a hacker kidnapped for her hacking skills and her program God’s Eye. She accepts her position as a full-fledged member of Dom’s crew due to her amazing computer skills.
