Today we remember Gerry Wiegert, the creator of the Vector Automobile. With the legendary W2 concept car, on to the W8 with 625 hp, to the WX3 tha fueled the M12, and on to his 1,800 hp design vehicle. Gerry went on to make one of the most iconic vehicles of the time, capable of speeds over 200 mph when many were trying to keep up. Unfortunately the vehicle wasn’t good at staying together and limited his production statistics. Still it was not a failure. It stayed a talked about vehicle as long as it was around and Gerry died while still working on his dream. We hope this story gives you hope to consider, you too can create a vehicle too and dream big as others like Christian Von Koenigsegg and McLaren dreamed as well and remember that Gerry was there first.
