The N2310 features active cooling to ensure your installed drives stay cool, and for connectivity you have a USB 2.0, USB 3.0 port, and Gigabit LAN. The USB ports can be used to back up external hard drives, cameras, or even burn copies of your data from the NAS to DVD. In addition the Thecus N2310 NAS device comes loaded with Thecus OS 6 so that you can run applications on it for media streaming, photo galleries, BitTorrent, and mobile control. There are many services built right into the NAS, such as the FTP server, web based file access, and an access control list (ACL). They even include free DDNS service through the Thecus website so that you can build your own personal cloud.
