Nostalgia ain’t what it used to be. Not with these new two-strokes around, anyways. Old-timey ring-dingers have been revitalized with fancy new fuel injection and they promise to change the game entirely. Will the 2019 KTM 250 XC-W TPI herald a new and bright future? Or will it be two strokes too few? We find out by racing it uphill against a deceptively fast foe – a downhill mountain bike.
