Very easy and 100% natural way to make vases, holders, bowls, cookie jars etc out of any kind of textile fabric! In my video tutorial I used knitted tablecloth and a handkerchief – but you can create your own shapes with – socks, old t-shirts, jeans, ribbon etc ! What will you need for this is a starch! Whatever – potato starch or corn starch. Mix 100 ml cold water with 2 tablespoons of starch. Pour this mixture into 1 litre boiling water. Mix and boil for 1 minute. Then let it cool for about 15 minutes. Then you can dip your piece of fabric into starch mixture and put it onto the form (I used a bowl). Let it dry for about 12 hours and take fabric off the form. You’ll get a piece of fabric in the shape of that form you used. For more details of how to starch fabric – watch my video. When you’ll get bored of vase you made – just wash it as usual! Really easy and really useful way to create new decor for your interior. Good luck!
