This restaurant and souvenir shop on India’s famous Golden Triangle route is the worst tourist trap I’ve ever come across! The souvenirs are massively marked up, their cruddy restaurant charges 5-star prices, and they’re busy breaking the law by rubbing out the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) on their snacks too.
This video will also help you learn the basic prices for souvenirs in India. Always buy them from a market rather than greedy stores like these. Even your hotel’s souvenir store will be a better option.
Avoid Motel Gangaur (मोटल गणगौर) on NH11 Agra-Jaipur road at all costs!
