Offset Released From Custody, Cardi B Cousin Arrested For Gun Possession
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – A passenger in a car driven by Migos rapper Offset was arrested Saturday evening on charges of carrying a concealed, loaded firearm in public, police said.

The Beverly Hills Police Department tweeted that 20-year-old Marcelo Almanzar is being held on a $35,000 bail.

Offset, who is married to rapper Cardi B, livestreamed himself on Instagram being questioned by police; he was later released. The video was widely shared on social media before being deleted.

In it, Offset tells a police officer he won’t exit the vehicle “because you’ve got guns out” and “I’m not going to move my hands from the steering wheel.””I’m a celebrity, you know who I am? I’m Offset from the Migos,” he tells them before an officer reaches inside the open window to unlock the door and remove him from the car.

USA TODAY has reached out to Offset’s representative for comment.

Police said they received information from a passerby about a person who pointed a weapon at him from a vehicle near South Santa Monica Blvd and North Beverly Drive. The passerby provided a license plate, and patrol units stopped the vehicle and investigated.

Officials added that reports that Offset had been arrested were inaccurate
